Emmys 2013 is almost there. Who are the winners this year? Every category has interesting names. This year, Game of Thrones has Emilia Clarke. Yippie, Our Emilia is nominated in one of several categories. She has tried her best in her role. Finally, she’s is nominated for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series’. It is for sure that Emilia would be glad and proud. She has been waiting for her moment since Season 1. Yes, no kidding. Emilia deserves to get Emmys. However, she was lost to the other actresses in previous seasons. Certainly, Game of Thrones fans will be glad when they hear this news.

Emilia is famous because of her role in Game of Thrones. She always gives her best ability and acting for the director. She even took the nude scenes without using any substitutes. She is really professional and does not care about the nudity. She stated that nudity in Game of Thrones is related with the plot. It is not only for fans service, but also to support the character’s growth within the story. No wonder, the viewers love her acting as Daenerys Targaryen. She is the right person to portray the Mother of Dragons.

It feels like ages for Emilia to be nominated in Emmys. Many critics predicted Emilia would be nominated in Game of Thrones Season 1. She was really great in that season. Flawlessly, he could portray the transformation of Daenerys, from weak and a crybaby to strong Mother of Dragons. Next, in Season 2, Emilia got nothing. Now, it is Emilia’s turn to be on the spotlight. She will compete with Anna Gunn – Breaking Bad; Maggie Smith – Downtown Abbey; Christine Baranski – The Good Wife, and Christina Hendricks – Mad Men. See? Emilia is the one to represent Game of Thrones in Emmys 2013.

What about Emilia’s opinion about her nomination? Does she feel nervous? Here is Emilia’s statement about her nomination. She said that she felt honored to be recognized by the Academy. She wants to know the result and do not want to disappoint Game of Thrones fans and production team. She felt that the production team has become her second family. Moreover, Emilia stated that she felt so grateful since the producers – David and Dan – took the chance of her. Last but not least, Emilia dedicated her nomination for Game of Thrones crews.
